everybody wants exposure, sometimes a cover

bookmark for "Catalog" by Lieven Lahaye

The book collects Lieven’s Catalog signatures, originally published as supporting structures for exhibitions, events, and talks. One of the starting points for the book was Duncan Smith’s essay Everybody Wants Exposure, which explores media, attention, and visibility.

Lieven asked friends to contribute a bookmark for the new book, and I thought it would be interesting to work with the title of Smith’s essay and consider how it might apply to the way people use printed matter as a form of cover.
